Beware of Malware
Has the Ask toolbar taken over your home screen on your internet browser?
If you are experiencing this it is a sign that you have inadvertently downloaded some Malware to your computer. “Ask” loads “Potentially unwanted programs” that will track your activity on the internet and send that information back to companies who then send advertisements to your computer. While they are called Potentially unwanted programs in reality there is nothing Potential about it and they should be removed. While virus checkers will pick up the most severe Malware programs “Ask” seems to get through.
Recommendation: To remove Malware you need a specific removal tool.
