PARENTAL CONTROLS

Taking back control of screentime
with simple to follow 'HOW TO' sessions for parents and children
If you have had one too many fights with your child about putting away their phone or iPad, or you may be worried about the safety or whereabouts of your child, these sessions can help you.
Designed for parents and children by a Melbourne mum, tech tutoring expert and cyber-safety partner Joanne Lambie, these services differ from other cyber-safety awareness sessions. Joanne takes a practical approach by offering step-by-step guidance to enable your children to manage their devices, and you to monitor and control how and when your children use their devices.
Joanne has extensive experience advising on cyber safety including partnering with staysmartonline.gov.au, Vic Police Neighbourhood Watch and assisting the Parliamentary Joint Select Committee on an Inquiry into Cyber-Safety.

Tech Genie Home Visit

Time poor? Or just not your thing?

Book our in-home service for complete peace of mind.

STEP 1:  INITIAL CONSULTATION IN YOUR HOME

One of our Tech Genies will come to your home to assess your devices and requirements in order to provide a parental control and family sharing plan across all of your computers, gaming and mobile devices and routers. You may also want to incorporate our family file storage and backup services during this consult.

STEP 2: SET UP AND INSTALLATION

We then install and set up the agreed parental controls and family sharing plan.

STEP 3: WE TRAIN YOU!

Once set up is complete, we train you on how to manage the parental controls and provide simple and easy to follow instructions to refer to when we are not there.

Josh, Year 7, Brighton East

Jo was amazing - she showed us how easy it is to look after our work!

Sam, dad of two, St Kilda East

Enough on the dangers - we know already!  What i wanted and what this gave me was the tools & knowledge to do something about it.
