About the Event

Cyber security and safety expert Jo Lambie from Stay In Touch Pty Ltd will be delivering Stay In Touch's parental control and security sessions via webinars to help you control your children's devices and secure your home computers, something now more important than ever with the extra demand on our devices.

During these sessions Jo will demonstrate with step by step instructions 'HOW TO' set up parental controls on devices.  You will learn to monitor the apps and programs your child uses, safeguard your child from inappropriate websites, limit the amount of time spent online, block usage during certain hours and more!  You will also learn 'HOW TO' secure your home devices, keep your information safe, minimise data usage, backup your files and implement a family maintenance plan.

These are simple to follow sessions with a practical approach.  They are delivered as an educational presentation with live demonstrations, designed for you to do this on your own devices after the session.

Stay In Touch have been operating since 2010 and have worked with the Vic Police Neighbourhood Watch, partners with staysmartonline.gov.au and has assisted with a parliament inquiry on Cyber Safety.

Three sessions at different times each week to suit all needs.  Each session is 1.5 hours in duration.  You can either book individual sessions or the entire package.
