About the Event
In today’s busy world, backing up your files is of great importance. Most people store their photos, documents, movies, contact and calendar details on their computer, phone and/or tablet. These devices have decreased in cost, however the amount of storage on each has increased, so it is easy to keep storing all of your information on them.
Unfortunately having all of your information in only one place is dangerous. If you lose your device, accidentally delete something, or your device is stolen, you will lose all of your photos, files and information. The only way to prepare for this is to have a good backup strategy in place.
In this session you will be shown the many different ways to back up your computer, phone or tablet and how to use multiple forms of backups to minimise the risk of ever losing your valuable photos, files and information.
This is a ‘virtual classroom’ using Zoom meetings. You can participate from the comfort of your own home on your own device. For those that are new to Zoom meetings do not worry. We will be sending out detailed step by step instructions on how to join a zoom meeting, and we will open the meeting up one hour prior for registrations and to assist anyone that needs help joining.
Not only will you learn about backing up on the cloud, you will also learn about Zoom meetings!
Suitable for computer, smartphone and tablet users.
Cost: Free Bookings are essential and can be booked online via the Stonnington Library website.
